| Bio: | Fandom: The Omen (with a bit of Charmed tossed in) Name: Mark Thorn Alias: Kram N'roht Marital Status: Single Education: He went to a normal public school as a kid, then continued his education as a teen at Davidson Military Academy.. for a short time, until he was killed by Damien. It's complicated. Family: Richard Thorn - Father, deceased. Killed by wife. Ann Thorn - Stepmother, deceased. Killed by boiler explosion. Marion - Aunt, deceased. Killed by heart attack because a demonic raven scared the shit out of her. Jeremy Thorn - Uncle, deceased. Killed by police in church. Damien Thorn - Cousin (alleged). Living, though he may not deserve to be. Evil demonspawn. Burn in Hell!! Friends: Not many, since he tends to keep to himself after the, err.. incident.. in the woods about five years ago. Though he has made a number of friends Up There. Occupation: Whitelighter Previous Employment: Cadet, student Known Likes: He likes movies, running a projector, and going to the movies. He also likes helping people. Known Dislikes: Damien.. because the guy killed him. He likely forgives him for it, but it won't be forgotten (kinda has mixed feelings about the incident). He also despises anyone who hurts those weaker than themselves, like that bully Teddy he met before. Fears: Nothing much. He has all his needs met now. As for death.. not even a factor. After you've been killed by the Antichrist, what could be worse than that? Powers: Immortality, self-healing ability. Though he might technically live forever, his body does not age. Levitation, temperature changes, telekinesis, glamoring (shapeshift), sensing those he is assigned to (and posssibly close to), orbing, ability to "cloak" his charges from evil, and able to heal wounds of others. It's unknown whether or not he has access to energy-ball formations. Weaknesses: He can only be killed by a darklighter arrow, anything else just has a temporary effect. Unless he is depressed or self-doubting, then there's a chance he can be mortal (an Elder can also demote him to human). Point in Canon you plan to bring your pup in from: About five years or so after the second Omen movie. Any items your pup might have on them upon arrival: Pens, notebook, wallet, ID tag History: Mark grew up as the son of Richard and Ann Thorn.. well, not necessarily grew up, but more on that later. He was a good son. He got good grades. Always did what was asked of him. When he was about seven years old, there was a new addition to the family; a boy close to the same age as him, named Damien Thorn, sent to them after the death of his own parents. Mark never asked about it, feeling it to probably be an uncomfortable subject for the other boy. They turned out to be the best of friends, good brothers, sharing everything with each other. He got some good marks in Davidson Military Academy where Damien was also enrolled, and he was known to have adequate skill with his band trumpet. But then things went bad. That year, there were some unexplained deaths. One night, at the time when Damien found out who he really was, Mark had overheard Dr. Warren talking to his dad about weird stuff. Most of which said: Damien Thorn is the motherfucking Antichrist!! So, after reading some Bible passages, and thinking more on it... he was saddened as his brother wasn't the guy he'd thought he was. He went for a walk in the snowy woods the next morning. He needed time to think, to.. process it. But Damien found him, and... well, shit happened. They argued, Mark was offered to join Damien's side.. and shit, who in their right mind would join the friggin' Antichrist, the son of Satan? He refused, obviously. Damien's power then did it's work, shattering a wall inside Mark's brain. It hurt like a bitch. It felt so very painful, internal bleeding, he screamed, and.. died slowly and painfully. He was no more. He was dead, but that wasn't the end; turns out that there really is an afterlife like he believed. He found himself in a place of light, with pillars, which reminded him of what he believed about Heaven. Mark was approached by beings in bright robes to talk about his future (after giving him the lowdown about his parents). Most souls cross over, but some are allowed to stay behind if they meet certain critera. Since he had stood up to the worst evil he'd known in his time, and given what his killer was.. he could have a chance to help people for eternity. He could return to the mortal plane as a Whitelighter. After spending some time among the Elders, being taught their ways, it was agreed that he be sent back. He was supposed to start at a clinic called Edgewood. They hinted that a connection to his past was there.. but nothing more was said.
